Hi, I’m Annemarie Klop, as a child, I was always making something. I built a dollhouse with working lights, designed clothes, drew postcards for school competitions, and made book covers for school reports. I wasn’t just playing, I was creating little worlds, paying attention to every detail, and finding joy in making ideas real.

​

That same drive is still with me today. Whether I’m wrapping a gift, setting up a cozy corner at home, or finishing an illustration at my desk, I feel most myself when I’m creating something thoughtful and complete. Illustration is where it all comes together, a mix of storytelling, design and playfulness.

I’m an illustrator based in Dublin, Ireland and originally from the Netherlands. I create playful and expressive illustrations that celebrate the quirky charm of everyday life. My work is rooted in joy, relatability, and storytelling,  whether I’m capturing daily moments, documenting my travels, or bringing someone’s ideas to life through art.​

At the heart of it all is this: I love bringing your story and words to life. Turning everyday thoughts, stories or feelings into something you can see, hold, or share.
